Leslie Ann
Portrait shoot for a local model. My goal was to photograph her near a particular mural on 23rd and S in downtown Sacramento, but overall the goal was just creative fun. The biggest challenge was the time of day. We shot in the middle of the afternoon so the light was quite harsh, but worked that out through some creative posing. Her purple wig worked well with the colors of the murals.

Living Doll
This shoot was for a submission to Gothesque Magazine, where the theme was "Living Doll." The look was really a collaboration between me, the model, the makeup artist I hired for the shoot, and the person who owned the studio. I like this shot of the model Kourtney because she looks like she's comforting another doll.

Bob
This photo is of my friend, local photographer and 1920s enthusiast Bob Herron. Bob wanted photos in this suit so we did the shoot at the Shady Lady bar in downtown Sacramento one morning. I can't say we had many challenges to this shoot!

Photographer Persia Nelson
Local photographer Persia Nelson needed new photos for her website. We were going for a more natural look for this shoot, so we shot inside among the many framed photographs of her three children, and outside among her plants and animals. Her dog Tuesday decided to join us for a few shots.
